I have been an agent for going on 35 years. I have owned the Wehmann Agency for 30 of those years. When I graduated from the University of Minnesota, I wanted to find a good job. My job grew into a very successful career and agency ownership. Leading in the industry has been both challenging and rewarding. Most of all, it has been filled with relationships that have blessed my career and the Wehmann Agency. Not many people get the career life that I have, so I am terribly grateful for every booking, every paid invoice every model/talent that is booked and every woman that has worked at Wehmann for the past 30 years!

I have been an agent at Wehmann for 15 years. I was lucky enough to find this job after working as a Project Manager for International Dairy Queen. For me, being an on-camera agent is the perfect combination of multi-tasking, building relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and best of all, working with some of the funniest and most talented actors in town. It is a joy to get to know actors and introduce them to opportunities to show their range and skill. When an audition opportunity turns in to a booking... that is the best part of my job!

I have been an agent at The Wehmann Agency for over 15 years. After graduating from Drake University with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications and a minor in Media Graphics, I started my career in advertising. Working at agencies such as W.B. Donor and Fallon McElligott gave me a deeper understanding of the advertising industry and the importance of client needs. When the opportunity arose to be the voice agent at the Wehmann Agency, I jumped at the chance to be able to stay in the industry, but be more involved with the production and creative side of the business. I have successfully promoted seasoned talent as well as launched new talent into successful voice over careers. From auditioning talent on mini-disk and dubbing to cassettes to mp3's and the internet, our voice department continues to grow. I take pride in maintaining close client relationships and am impressed daily by the dedication and creativity of the talent we represent. My job has been extremely rewarding and I can't wait to see what the next decade will bring!

I am solid proof that your college major does not necessarily determine your career path. After graduating from St. Olaf College in 2005 with degrees in Family Studies and Women's Studies, I found myself struggling to find a job that would fulfill my multiple requirements for "the perfect job." I knew I had to be somewhere people-centered, where I could establish one-on-one connections with the people I serviced every day, but I also had the strong desire to be in a fast-paced, commercially driven industry that would satisfy the creative side of me. I finally found the balance I was looking for in 2007 when I landed at the Wehmann Agency, and I have never looked back. I love and take pride in what I do, and the women I work with. More importantly, I love the talent I represent. I consider it an incredible privilege to work with such unique and talented individuals every day.

I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in retail merchandising. I've always been interested in fashion, design and creativity, but my love grew when I interned for the Ronen Chen fashion agency and boutique in London. There, I was able to learn the ins and outs of the fashion world and truly immerse myself in something I'm passionate about. I became involved with marketing, coordinating events and promotions, along with hands on experience with the visual merchandising and styling. I then interned with ShopHQ where I was able to work directly with buyers and vendors. I managed samples and purchase orders through purchasing to on-air.These experiences culminated when I accepted my internship with Wehmann in February of 2014. As soon as my internship began, I knew I had found the perfect fit. It combined everything I loved to do; marketing, promotions, visual presentation and working in fashion and commercial advertising. Susan hired me upon graduation and I am beyond thrilled to be an agent at Wehmann. I love the women I work with and feel so lucky to collaborate with such an amazing team. I look forward to working with some of the most talented people in town and can't wait for the regularly occurring adventures that working here brings.

Internship Program
The Wehmann Agency Internship Program is more than just making copies. Interns at Wehmann work closely with our agents learning about the business and providing assistance with auditions and bookings. Daily tasks include evaluating new talent submissions, updating talent web profiles, assisting both print and on-camera agents, and managing info@wehmann.com. Wehmann interns are an integral part of the office! They assist in planning exclusive events, supporting our actors by attending performances, and help with promotional photo shoots. Previous interns have come from various schools with a variety of majors including Business, Retail Merchandising, Marketing, and Communications. They have worked with New York City Fashion Week, New York City Bridal Fashion Week, Glamour Magazine, Style Architects, and College Fashionista. Many former interns have had successful careers with the Wehmann Agency after graduation. If you are interested in applying for the Wehmann Agency Internship Program, please contact Susan Wehmann at SWehmann@Wehmann.com
