  • BioShanna Cistulli is a versatile and creative artist. A native Minnesotan, Shanna started out in Fine Arts. After moving to Los Angeles in 1998 to pursue her dreams, she soon realized it was painting and transforming faces that best harnessed her skill and passion. Shanna has worked on many television, commercial, advertising / editorial, music video and fashion projects over her span of 23 yrs in the industry. She is an internationally published makeup artist with her work being seen in Harper’s Bazaar Serbia, Bazaar Thailand, PhotoVOGUE Vogue Italia, Paper magazine, Seventeen, Ellements, Kaltblut, Glassbook, Period, Makeup Artist magazine and more. Shanna taught at The Make-up Designory Los Angeles school from 2014 to 2020. Teaching beauty, bridal, airbrush, film, TV /HD, character, and body painting techniques. As an industry educator and platform artist she is known for her attention to detail, and ability to merge fine art with mixed mediums on the human canvas creating inspiring artistic looks. She loves all forms of art, and finds her inspiration in the everyday beauty of her surroundings. Shanna paints on canvas, and has a passion for portrait and fine art photography. Shanna has relocated back to her home state of Minnesota. She is currently represented by Wehmann Agency, and is a member of I.A.T.S.E Local 490. Shanna is available for advertising, film / tv production, Fx makeup and special events in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
